Decent for on the water in Tiburon

My husband and I stayed at the Waters Edge for a night last weekend for a getaway across the Bay. While the room decor was updated to slightly more contemporary design, the bathroom and other amenities were old. The balcony looking out on the Bay and location next to Sam's made up for what the room lacked. For a boutique hotel in affluent Tiburon, it was well priced at under $200. I would recommend it if you're looking for something different, near yet just far enough.
- Pros: Location, wine & cheese hour
- Cons: Rooms older, fireplace doesn't work

Beautiful setting, but...

Gorgeously furnished, modern, comfortable... but watch out if you get an even numbered room! The marina bar next door will be noisy at night during the summer. It looked deserted at 11pm, but by midnight the laughter and yelling will wake you up unless you're a partier too. VERY convenient location for exploring Angel Island.
- Pros: VIEW!, amenities, location
- Cons: noise, pricey
