Totally Awesome~. This salon is one of the best! The atmosphere is friendly and upbeat. It seems like the salon and the stylists are in tune with you as a client and your needs, as opposed to most other "big business" salons where you get lost in the shuffle. I see both Melanie and Alise for my color and cuts and both deliver consistent and edgy work.

I highly recommend this salon and stylists.

C'mon City Searchers Raise your standards. OK if Steel Magnolias is your fav movie...then you might groove with this salon. With such great reviews I expected a big salon with a bunch of assistants running around pampering me. It was cute/quaint and my haircut was fine...maybe I'm a salon snob but I want the whole experience when I get my do done. Now I'm wary of user reviews everywhere!?

Felt like a princess!. Janette Mobley is the updo expert -- she made me feel like such a princess for my wedding!

We had a trial beforehand which was perfect, but the day of even more so. She really took the time to consider the look and style I wanted for my special day, and made it happen. Her professionalism was appreciated too. (The front desk even offered to order breakfast for us!)

I was also very pleased with my 3 bridesmaids who saw other stylists while I was with Janette... everyone looked fantastic, and my pictures are gorgeous!

Wonderful... I went to Wendy when she was at Edward's and then followed her to A Line...I took the big plunge of getting my long naturally curly hair cut after keeping it long for years in fear of walking out looking like an unruly q-tip. She put my fears to rest and proceeded to layer my curly hair, a feat I have never experienced. I've been going to her ever since. She listens to what I want and gives me suggestions. If you ahve curly hair, go to Wendy, she is fabulous with cutting and giving tips for keeping my hair healthy and shiny.

I love my hair!. It has been a long time since I have liked my hair style, and since I found Aline salon on citysearch, I figured that I should write a review for them.

Since I'm new to the bay area, I've been trying to find a regular salon to go to, and after trying a few others nearer to my house, I decided to try Aline after doing some browsing on the citysearch site. Well, I have found my salon!!!!

I had a great experience there (unlike some other salons I've gone to in the past!) the whole staff is very nice, professional, but not stuffy. I have to mention that my stylist was Wendy -- I will be going back to her for sure.

The salon is small but not too small so it's very comfortable.

Mandie is amazing!. A good friend of mine has been telling me for two years now to get down to Aline. After my last hair experience with a hairdresser that had no vision for me, I finally went. Not only did Mandie fix my color, but gave me the best haircut I've had in a long time, with a look that suits me and my style. I was also very pleased with how extremely friendly the front desk staff was as well. I will definitely go back -- it was a great experience.

Great if you have curly hair. I have been to a lot of nice salons and am finally happy with A line. Wendy is seriously awesome if you have curly hair and don't know how to style it. Before I met Wendy, I had spent way too much time trying to straighten my hair with a blow dryer. Now I finally know how to wear it curly (not frizzy) with an actual style. She is also a seriously nice a person!

I will never go anywhere else!. I love my stylist and all the other stylists at this salon. A Line is the only place that can do anything creative with my unruly hair. I love the way the staff consults with each other -- such a friendly and cool place to hang out for a couple hours while I get my cut and color. The shampoos are simply heaven and they know how I love my glass of white wine. I wish I could take my stylist home with me!

A Line Rocks!. What could be better than a fun, young, talented group of stylists working in a beautiful old home with wood floors and natural light massaging your head and cutting your locks into en vogue styles and adding perfect highlights? I have been a happy A Line client for 4 years, and I was thrilled to find them after less-than-satisfying experiences elsewhere. Wendy is my stylist and she never ceases to provide me with JUST what I ask for, both in cut and color. The added benefit: She's upbeat, hilarious and I enjoy going just to see her (plus she brings me a tall glass of lemonade). Go to A Line, sit back, relax and feel the magic!!

User review by sophiev. Wendy's been my stylist for a few years now and I'm always satisfied with her work (color and cut). I have curly hair and it's not easy to find a stylist who understands what you can and can't do to curly hair, but Wendy gets it. She takes the time to hear what I'm thinking and throws in her suggestions as well. The results have always been above expectations, even when I decided to cut my hair short.

The salon is nice and has a casual, friendly atmosphere.
