do not eat there!. My boyfriend and I stumbled on to this restaurant not knowing what they served. We found the menu to be extremely limited, only 16 items to choose from and 4 of them were sweet and sour dishes with 4 different types of meat. Many of the dishes are deep fried, which was not our preference. Anyway, we ordered deep fried sweet and sour beef and it was a HUGE order for 2 people. I never ate so much sweet and sour beef in my life (and i'm chinese!). We barely even finished half of that order, and we also had kim chee soup w/ rice. It was also a HUGE order... Kind of strange to have rice in my soup...not that good... BTW. Service was slow, but there was only 1 waitress. I was hungry but the meal wasn't appetizing and left very unsatisfied. Overall, considering the menu and prices, I rather eat at Arang which is only a couple of minutes away (Japantown Center, where safeway is...) and it has plenty of parking. WE SHOULD HAVE WENT TO ARANG!!! In the defense of the restuarant, there were people there that looked like they were enjoying themselves... but there were all korean ( go figure ).

Good Chinese Korean food. Zazang has a limited menu, but they do a decent job in presenting Chinese-style Korean dishes. Zazang-myun (an interesting Romanization of noodles in a black bean sauce) was tasty, and the noodles had the perfect texture for this type of dish. Other dishes to try include noodles in a spicy seafood broth (Jamppong) and the sweet and sour pork/beef. The service can be slow, even for take out, but then again, they do not have a very large kitchen. My review is for the location on Geary Street, although I've heard that the branch in Oakland is better.

Bad Experience. My boyfriend and I went into this restaurant after we read the review posted on the window. The menu looked good, although there are no more than 15 items. Service was SLOOOOWW; there were only two other tables besides ours, but it took them almost 30 minutes to get our two dishes to us. I don't think this is acceptable given thier extremely limited menu.
