absolutely wonderful. We drive up from south San Jose, and this is one of the restaurants that we really enjoy visiting. SOOOOOO good. everything that we have tried............makes me hungry just thinking about it!!!!!!!

The Mezza Luna is a fine establishment.. well, it was a Sunday night, and I needed to get out, and treat myself. I did just that, and the Mezza Luna, was appropriate. It would have also been suitable for any other occasion, especially a date. Anyhow, I had the Calamari, which was off the MAP, and has the spaghetti w/meat sauce, and I msut say every bit of food I ate there, including the bread was delicious. It was not crowded, and the service was excellent. Very courteous, and prompt. I will definately eat there again, and highly recommend, at least giving it a shot. My mouth is watering just thinking about that calamari, mmmmm.

Mamma Mia! Amo questo ristorante!. First of all, I love Italians. They're warm, passionate and gracious...just like Mezza Luna. My wife, friends and family have eaten there for years...you could eat there everyday, twice a day even...say that for most restaurants! OK, I love their pastas, salads and fish specials. They have a real expensive Parma proscuitto slicer; top of the line: perfetto! Oh yeah, their ravs and tortellinis are to die for. It's versatile: romantic dinners with my wife, family gatherings laughing, singing drinking, and a great place for kids...just like in Italia! But here's the real reason I love this place: the owners go out every morning and hand pick food for us...and they don't mess around with bargains; they pay the extra buck for quality. I know, I've visited their kitchen and have seen it on multiple occasions.

Absolutely Wonderful !!!!!. Our family has been enjoying the excellent food, cheerful service and ambiance of Mezza Luna for years. For us, there is no comparision to other dining establishments on the Coastside. The freshness and quality of the food and wine is outstanding. We find that compared to other establishments on the coast, Mezza Lunas prices are very reasonable for the quality and freshness of the food and service you receive. They can be pretty busy on weekend evenings, but they work very hard to please. Try them, you won't regret it.

Best of the Coastside. I have been eating at ML for the past 10 years, and I will continue for the next 100. A favorite of locals, and being voted Best of the Coast for the past several years is a clear indication of the food and service. A great place for kids, and to impress friends and family with great food and service. Fresh pasta, fish and meats....something for everyone. Cannot live without the Clams with Linquine and fresh mozzarella Caprese Salad.

Decent Pasta in Half Moon Bay. Mezza Luna is tucked off of Highway 1 next to the HMB Brewery. Busy on Sat. night, we waited about 40min for table, a party at the bar forced us to walk for our cocktails. Started off with an arugula salad and bruschetta, both were decent. The salmon ravioli in cream sauce was homemade and decently sized. Dessert was a forgettable tiramisu. The dining room is spacious and well-lit with reasonable noise volumes and the service was average. Overall a good spot for a bite where there aren't too many choices but nothing special...

Bad service ruins it. for us and the kids. We had two toddlers with us. It was a busy night, but I asked for a plain pizza for the little ones to be brought BEFORE our appetizzers and entrees. It was brought almost last. You know kids and patience. Service was very slow despite there being a lot of them running around singing happy birthday.

Salmon ravioli was very good, gnocci was passable. Pizza was good for kids, but incredible slow at coming.
