All the way from the Italian Alps

Caffe Sempione is a North Beach Caffe offering more that just the same old thing. At breakfast they have the Alpino a hot breakfast sandwhich of Italian Bacon (Pancetta), Cheese, & scrambled egg, grilled and served with fruit. At lunch Sempione specializes in grilled Italian Panini. They have Ham and Cheese, Tuna and Cheese (they add Capers for a nice Twist!). They also have a couple of veggi items on the menu, an antipasto that looked really good. The potato Salad is home made, and all the sandwhiches come with the potato or greens. They are working on a beer and wine license. Have revolving art shows. The owners speak Italian.
