not in kansas anymore. i first came to 'just for you' on a freinds recomendation. only was no way prepared for the experience. it was a warm and welcomed surprise for once to eat at a place with old fashion character. something you don't see anymore in a city full of fancy uncomfortable restaraunts serving small towers of food instead of full plates of food. the menu included home baked breads, grits and crabcakes. defenately a small prize after finding it in it's neighborhood 'the dog patch'. it's not a four star sort of place... but which do you perfer? good food or pampering?

Wrong!. People that said this place was the best in the city are delusional! Service was dismal, waited for someone to take our orders, then waited another 25 minutes for our food, watching others come in, order take out and leave with their food. Asking for more water which was lukewarm, was like asking for the waiter to stand on her head. $9 for 2 eggs, 2 pancakes and two small sausages?? Scones that were essentially cornbread with apricots thrown in. Not at all worthy of being on the list for best in the city.

just the way I like it. I love this restaurant. I highly recommend the chili con carne over scrambled eggs and cornbread. The coffee has a nice kick to it too.

what's the fuss?. Waited for over 25 minutes for sub-standard food.

Unattentive waitstaff. Pancakes that tasted like pancakes only by adding butter and syrup. Definitely not worth by 9 bucks or the wait!!!

mmm...mmmmabel's. this is the best breakfast i've had in the city. perfect eggs, plenty of choices, good service and fresh-baked bread. both my southern born and bred parents proclaimed the grits outstanding! buy a loaf of their bread to take home when you go, it freezes brilliantly.

Hangover Heaven!. With or without a hangover, I can't describe how good the combination of Huevos Ranchers w/Red Meat Sauch & a side of Grits is! Pure morning heaven...

Just for you! and you! and you!. I love the new location! Loved the old one, but this one is just as good, if not better! Now I can take my friends who are visiting from out of town! And we can get a table!!! Love the food and the service is, as always, totally great, no-messing-around!! Also, love the new menu items, the poached egg specials and for lunch, the Louisiana Po-Boys!
