Best haircut ever!. I have to start off by saying that I used to hate getting my hair cut. I felt like I never ended up getting what I asked for and it always took a few moths for my hair to grow out into something I didn't loathe. Well, that's until my friend recommended Grasshopper Salon and Elisa as a stylist. I have to say hands down she is the best! She was patient and receptive when I explained what I wanted (and what I didn't want). We had great conversation throughout the cut which put me at ease and she checked in multiple times to make sure I was okay with the length. HUNG is 'da' man.. I don't think there's anything that Hung could not do or fix. He turned my disastrous color and cut (from another salon) into beautiful, shiny, vibrant long locks that are full of movement. My new do's got a few double takes on the street. Thanks to Hung, I feel sexy again.…

I recently went to Grasshopper and Anna was my stylist, she was great!
I just moved to San Francisco from New York and I had a great stylist there, and was worried I wouldn't find someone as good here in San Francisco. I was wrong!
I Google-d Grasshopper, and got Anna as a stylist.
I wasn't so sure at first because she is a little on the quiet side, but she listened to everything I had to say, was very professional, and sweet. She did an awesome job. I hate to say it, but she's better than my previous stylist!…
I love this salon!. When I first moved to the city 10+ years ago I tried just about every hair salon with horrible results - stylists who ignored what I asked for, gave me a poodle-like cut (seriously!), etc. - before stumbling on Grasshopper. On my first visit my stylist Hareg (the absolute best!) took the time to listen to what I wanted and then before she started cutting explained what she wanted to do and how it'd look. I've been going back to her ever since (6+ years) and have been sooo happy with the results. I constantly get compliments about my cut and I love how low maintenance it is. She's a wiz with highlights and coloring (especially covering up the grays - no easy feat with black hair) that makes it look like I was born with perfect hair. I can't recommend this place or Hareg enough!…
