great fried chicken!. loved the fried chicken! had to wait on a friday night cuz it's small place and it was pretty crowded. they had just been featured in SF mag which is how i'd heard about them. we were the only non-Koreans in the place, which we took as a very good sign and the food was amazing. go!

Outer Sunset hole-in-the-wall serves up heaping plates of Korean favorites to locals and in-the-know diners.. In Short
Korean food fans crowd this neighborhood favorite for the food, not the decor--it sometimes looks closed from the outside, and the interior is plain Jane aside from a random assortment of dusty wooden knickknacks. People flock from all corners of the city for the fried chicken, bi bim bap (a very hot stone pot filled with rice, veggies and meat, topped with a sunny-side-up egg), and assortment of tasty side dishes like kimchee and scallion pancakes.

Awesome Bi Bim Bop. I've only had the bi bim bop, but it's the best I've had in the city!

Chick-N-Deli. Not!. My buddy brought me here for authentic korean food (non-smoky bbq). The place is definitely a find. Only the locals know about it because on the outside, the sign say Chick-N-Deli. By 7:30 there's a wait out the door for one of the 10 or so tables. The food is definitely good. It comes out fast and everything is flavorful. Watch out if you don't like spicy. Fried Chicken is very tasty, short ribs are also good. A tad expensive for asian cuisine but for once in a while, it's worth it. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Come early for best seating.

Han Bat Korean. A little hole in the wall with really good food (try the fried chicken!). I also like the bul-go-gi and think their kim chee and scallion pancakes (on the house) are great. Just don't make it too popular or I'll never get a table!

decent place for Asians. Decent place for Asians to hang out. Food is above average, only one nasty beer (Coors) on tap and various flavored soju. They get packed on Fridays and Saturday nights.
