Great place to get away. The atmosphere of the restaurant is worth the time to dine here alone. I definitely recommend making reservations however. Like most popular restaurants, walk-ins could wait up to an hour and a half to be seated. It's like that everywhere. But with a reservation this is a great place to eat. Service the good, and the food was good. There are several drinks to choose from as well, but not that many desserts. I'd say that's really the only disadvantage to the place.

another tourist trap in Fishermans Wharf. we waited 50 minutes before being seated, full 20 minutes until the waitress took our orders, and 30 more minutes till the food actually arrived after that. The food was actually decent, but it certainly was not worth the wait.

l'ambiance guarantee!. Because we haven't made a recevation beforehand, me and my friend waited about 20 minutes (it was a Tuesday night) browsing in the funny rainforest shop downstairs the restaurant. But waiting tha table was worth the time; the decoration was unbelievable with all the plants, nightsky, waterfall, animals and the sounds from a real jungle.

Service was friendly, not so fast because the restaurant was crowded but time went flying because of the great athmosphere.

Food was good, and plates were big.

If you want something to remember afterwards, the rainforest cafe is a place for you.

Long but fun wait and nice experience. I showed up with a party of four on MLK day and had to wait for 30 mins, which didn't turn out too bad because there were a lot of funky little jungle things to mess with in the store (though most of it is just tourist ripoff stuff). Once our number was called everything was even better. We were seated and our waitress (Mary) was really awesome. Food came quickly and was delicious. Huge menu. I give it an A

An Interesting Place. I took a date to this restaurant and I have to say I was very surprised. We caught this place just walking up the warf. The food was great and the service was very attentive. The atmosphere is very animated with the safari animals and aquatic fish aquariums throughout. A very nice place. Check it out.

Exotic Discovery. I really love Rainforest Cafe!!! I love the ambiance, the food, the fun and friendly service. The workers are from different parts of the world which makes it unique. I highly recommend it for anyone who loves differnt types Latin foods and people want to have an adventures time. It's great for a special date, friends, or for the entire family!!!

I Get Better Service at McDonald's. We had to sit in the bar for about an hour before we were finally seated. The apitizers were okay and the bartenders were nice. Once we were seated, we ordered our meals and somehow mine never came. It took me forever to get the waiters attention and when I finally did he said he would be right back with my meal and I didn't see him again until it came time to pay the bill! No one at the table was very happy with their food, the service, or the price of the meal, considering the quality of food. But, the ambience was nice, and it was fun to look around at the place. However, I don't think that this alone should be the thing that keeps this restaraunt alive. The owners should definately do something about their service.

Don't Go!. We went the weekend of July 4th. Never again. The service was HORRIBLE. The seaters argue with one another about who should go on break next. Though it was a holiday weekend, it wasn't that crowded, so we gave it a go and tried to eat in the bar area. I ordered a drink at the bar, left for a moment to talk to my wife, and upon my return, the guy said we cancelled my order! The waitress (Aubrey) had all the courtesy and congeniality of a disgruntled cab driver. There were aiters and waitresses standing around in crowds pointing at the tables and patrons, but not DOING ANYTHING. The appetizer was OK, but nothing to rave about. The atmosphere was pretty good. In total, STAY AWAY from this place.
