Fantastic aesthetician!. The aesthetician, Felicia, gives fantastic facials and microdermabrasion treatments. The store has a very relaxing atmosphere and the staff is wonderful.

This no-frills but comfortable spot offers an array of facials, anti-aging services and waxing. Space is limited and décor is minimal, but the superior customer service more than makes up for the lack of ambience. Staff will work with you to find the best treatments to suit your needs and personalizing the services is never a problem. Friendly technicians put you at ease even during those inevitably not-so-relaxing waxing appointments. The salon also offers an assortment of skin care products from Pevonia Botanica, Medicalia, True Cosmetics, and SkinCeuticals.

romanina. This is salon, although small, is wonderful. The estitiians are friendly and knowledgeable. My facial was relaxing and I felt great when I left. I will absolutely return. Thank you City Search for the recomendation.

NOT A SPA. This place is not a spa. It is a very small shop. kind of shabby too. the facial was o.k. nothing special.

most personal experience. I have been to just about every spa in this city but have found my home at Janis's. Liz is the most personable and professional of anyone. She is a perfectionist in her work, never makes you feel rushed or that "double booked' feeling you get from other spas. She makes you feel comfortable while she is intense at her job. (best eyebrow waxing in town, not to mention perfect waxing job overall) She is one of the warmest and sweetest person I have found in this profession, it's better than therapy and CHEAPER!!!!

A must experience!. I love this place! Felicia is amazing and the services are outstanding. If you haven't been, it's a must experience; if you're a regular - excellent choice. I highly, highly recommend it!

LOVE this Place!!!. I went in for the first time last night because of the reviews on citysearch. I got a full leg and bikini wax!!! Let me tell you...Felicia is AWESOME!!!!! I called to make a last minute appointment and they were booked until the following week. Felicia must have heard the desperation in my voice and accommodated me after hours (8pm)!! I know that spas will accommodate their regulars but to do it for a new customer is a rare find. I look forward to trying all the other services they offer!! If you are looking for a great place to go back to again and again....find this hidden jewel in the Marina! :-)

Delightful. Janis Chakler Skin Care is such a cute and amazing place. I had a facial here and it was one of the best that I've ever had. Great extractions, not red, and my face looked amazing. I never had a facial where I could go out directly from the treatment. They should clone the people here. They are amazing and very knowledgeable about the skin and products. What a great find, I will definately return.

So Good. Well I've been all over searching for the perfect brazilian and I found it an Janis Chakler Skin Care. Felicia is the best. Hardly any pain and it was not bumpy and red like most places. She is very thorough and makes you feel very at ease. I loved this place.
