A khakis and polo shirt-clad crowd descends on this two-tier space after work. Toward the back, singles mingle by the lower-level bar. Some come to sample the noteworthy wine list, but most come for a signature cosmopolitan during happy hour; otherwise, there's nothing special about the typical cocktail list but drinks do pack a punch. Poor Service

This place was recommended by the concierge in our hotel. Our party of 9 went and experienced one of the slowest and latent responses in service possible in a supposedly upscale restaurant. We literally waited over half an hour for our drinks and bread! Food was just ok. Do not go here.
Good Food/Drinks, nice ambiance

I was staying at a nearby hotel for work, and stopped by the Cosmopoliton Cafe because of it's location. Nice ambiance, two decently sized bar areas and as well as a lounge-ish eating area in addition to the main dining room. I had the Goat Cheese Gnocchi which was very delicious. Decent menu and drinks, service was a little less than friendly but overall I would recommend it as a good stop if you're in the area.
- Pros: good food, good drinks, nice atmosphere
- Cons: a bit pricey for what you get
