blah. Menu prices were 15% to 20% higher than stated in menu obtained from Union Square Restaurants web site. When questioned, they said the web site had gone bankrupt, but they gave a 25% discount voucher. Food and ambiance were mediocre. Certainly no feel of Northern Italy or any other part of Italy for either. Even on the last Saturday night before Christmas holiday, the restaurant was about half empty. When we first looked inside our instincts were to forget about our reservation and go elsewhere. My wife's injured foot limited us from doing that. I think it's possible to go to many really good Italian restaurants in SF for the same cost instead of this bland and boring place.
