Great East Coast-style pizza, baked in a brick oven, at this popular Union Street pizzeria..
The Scene
This popular pizzeria gets a lot of foot traffic from the busy Union Street shopping strip outside. On sunny days, the best seats in the house are outside on the spacious
courtyard patio out back.
The Food
Baked in a brick oven, these New York-style pizzas come out dark and blistered, with just enough sauce and cheese to complement the skinny, crisp-chewy crust. The veggie pizza arrives well-topped with a savory melange of slithery, relaxed roasted green peppers, mushrooms, black olives and onions. Other options abound, from "white" (sauceless) pizzas like the New Haven (clams, garlic and bacon); the Calabria (mozzarella, pancetta, provolone, fresh tomatoes); and the Trentino (feta, spinach, red onions and Meyer lemon oil). Salads and a few basic pastas round out the offerings.

delish!. This is the best pizza I've had in the city, by far. The Trentino is fabulous!! Crispy pancetta with sweet red onions and feta, with olive oil instead of tomato sauce. Yum yum. (I've only had take-out so don't know about ambience but I'm listing it as "10" anyway since it is required to post the rating! :)…
FANTASTIC !!!. Top-rate pizza (try the white clam), pasta (with meatsauce), and salads (excellent caesar).... We're hooked !
As Good or Better .... As good or better than any of my NYC favorites ! Surprisingly fine pastas. (The ravioli w/pesto blew me away !)
