the best indian restaurant. they serve authentic indian food. food is very flavourful. staff is very friendly and the service is very fast. so next time you want indian food think of lotus.

Best Indian Food. Great food and impeccable service will greet you at Lotus. Casual yet elegant, with a retractable roof which is great in the summer. Hard to recommend one or two dishes here but the Tandoori Prawn Masala is a can't miss dish. Great Vegetarian offerings too, which makes it easy for a crowd. Best to have reservations on a weekend but easy in and out during the week. Wells staffed and attentive service make is a very pleasurable dinner.

Excellent Food, Friendly Service, Lovely Setting!. This has to be my favorite restaurant in and around San Rafael. The food is authentic and sooo delicious, I have tried them all and can't even name my favorite, because the dishes are all great in their own right. Lots of vegetarian and organic choices too. And get this, you can even order online and take out in a jiffy, how cool is that! You just can't go wrong here.

Genuine Service and Food. Down-to-earth service, yet very attentive, with a reasonable wine list, great variety of food freshly prepared, and fantastic taste. Lived up to the other reviews. Also a very pretty setting on a lovely Marin evening with the roof open.

Number 1 in the Bay Area. LOTUS IS SIMPLY THE BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT IN THE BAY AREA. IF YOU HAVEN'T TRIED IT THEN YOU ARE MISSING OUT ON THE BEST INIDIAN FOOD IN THE MARIN. NUMBER ONE IN THE MARIN COUNTY GO AND TRY IT. THE FOOD IS GREAT AND SO IS THE SERVICE AND THE PLACE LOOKS GREAT. FOOD IS VERY VERY GOOD AND SERVICE VERY VERY GOOD BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT IN BAY AREA
