This lodging is located in the city's most exclusive enclave--Pacific Heights. Perched on a hillside with views of Twin Peaks, it is two blocks from Fillmore Street and a block from Lafayette Park. Special touches such as homemade cake and roses growing right in the rooms keep guests coming back year after year.

The Details
This comfortable inn offers small, homey guest rooms furnished with individual phone lines and TVs. All but one have private bathrooms. Fresh flowers grace the public rooms where travelers gather in the evenings to converse and plan sight-seeing. Chances are, you'll find a lot of European guests here, as the staff speaks Finnish, German and French.

Charming-The perfect way to stay in SF!. Located in a beautiful area of Pacific Heights, Circa 1870 is an adorable bed & breakfast with cozy rooms and atmosphere. Raila does everything to make your stay enjoyable. Also, it's within walking distance of Fillmore Street, which has enough restaurants and shops for anyone! Also a quick ride to downtown and Union Square.

Quaint Victorian Charm. What a lovely stay I had at Circa 1870 recently. Innowner Raila, was so welcoming and helpful, getting me in and around San Francisco. She provided healthy, satisfying breakfasts and relaxing evening wine service. The accomodations are bright, clean and comfortable. The location makes it easy to get around the city and you're walking distance from many local shops, restaurants and nightlife. Well worth the experience.
