great color. I went into fringe with color nitemare, it needed a fix. After informing me on what could be done, I sat back and put my trust into another "strangers" hands. I had been here before, but this time it was her honesty that led me to trust her to fix it.She told me what she was willing to do not what she thought I wanted to hear. I am pleased with the turn out and look forward to future visits to chana's chair. thankyou.

Best Cut EVER. I called in on a busy Saturday, and was told the only appointment avail was with a junior stylist, and did I mind. I didn't, and scheduled my appointment for later that afternoon. From the moment I walked in, everyone was friendly, and helpful. After introducing herself, the first question Jen asked was to tell her about my hair, what I liked and what I didn't....this was a first! So after a short chat I sat back relaxed and let her work. From the moment she was done, I loved my new cut. There was none of the usual adjustment period. I liked it so much, that I made an appointment on the spot for a color. I think, after two years living in SF, I've finally found my stylist!! As for being a "junior" stylist...I would have never known! I reccommend Fringe, and especially Jen to anyone that wants a GREAT cut!

Hair. Great people, great location, great cut. Would definitely recommend "emily" at Fringe. Totally cool, interesting and she gives a mean haircut. I have had three cuts from her and one dye and loved them all.

finally good hair. I'ts been awhile since I've taken a chance at a new salon where I didn"t know anybody that had been before. I'm really pleased. I will be telling some friends. Thankyou for my cut and color.

lost and found. I was walking by fringe on my way to do some Hayes street shopping, popped in to see if they could take a color walk-in. Sure enough within the hour I was seen, she talked to me about what upkeep I was really capable of commiting to.Within guidlines she asked for, I then decided to give her freedom to do what she felt suitable. I LOVE MY HAIR. YEAH!!! Thanks, Channa

best magazines!. This might be Hayes Valley's hidden secret. I've been looking for a good hair colorist since I moved here. HELLO! At first I was lost, pretty small (apartment-like) salon sits ontop of Hayes Street Grill. Great Job Chana! I'll be back.

great color,good price. I went into fringe on a friends recom., she was dead on. Not only was the price resonable but the owner was really friendly and the color turned out great. She also educated me on how to maintain the color longer,saving me money in the longrun!

Worth the trip. I spent several years in san francisco and was never happy with any of my stylist. It was only after I moved to L.A. did I find Marisele at Fringe. After just one cut I was hooked, now I hold off on getting my hair cut until my visits to S.F. Marisele does an amazing job with my long straight hair, i've never received so many compliments on my hair until I met her. Her cuts are so great that even after several months (its been 4 now) of it being cut it still looks great. My only complaint is that she works one day a week on Saturday so I have to plan my trips back according to her schedule, but its worth it.

Better than average!. Chana has been doing my hair for a while now, I have fine hair, kinda hard to work with. But ever since I've been going to Fringe it's never looked better! Thanks for taking charge and making me feel beautiful.

The only salon I'll go to. I have been going to Fringe for almost five years and every time I walk out I am incredibly pleased with the cut and color. The salon has a laid-back contemporary feel. All the stylists are friendly, creative, and unique. I get compliments on my hair often but since I've been going to Chana at Fringe compliments have at least tripled. I highly recommend this salon.
