Fringe Salon

Horrible service!!!!. I have been very excited to try Fringe Salon and when I saw a CBS Deal through Townhog for $200 Worth of service for $100, I immediately purchased it. I called Fringe to set up an appointment on 6/28 and told the receptionist that I had the certificate. As only 2 stylists at the salon were honoring the deal, I decided to wait for the owner, Chaya, to return from vacation and scheduled my appointment for 7/9. Longer then I wanted to wait for much needed highlights but based on the reviews I decided a ponytail for 2 weeks will work!

Today, 7/6, I received a call from Fringe CANCELLING my appointment. When I asked why I was told that since the CBS/ Townhog had not paid the owner, she was cancelling all certificate appointments. Aside from making her problem mine, she also has me scrambling to find an alternate place as I have an important event that night that I need my hair done for.

I asked the person calling me why I couldn't just pay full price for this appointment and use the certificate for follow up appointment, a business savvy offer I would think. I was given such attitude that it is now not even an option.

So, aside from being out $100 and in a panic to find another salon, I am very angry. Logic dictates that Fringe Salon had this promotion to drum up clients. Based on the caviler way I was treated I will never go here and recommend strongly that others heed this warning. Lack of respect for clients does not bode well for such a personal service.…

thee best ever; go JANINE go EMILY!!!. EMILY-- emily is super nice and has a realy nice personality. her kindness alone is enough the tip. not only that but she did a terrific job on my hair color it was more than i asked for it was took my hair to another level never have i felt so glamourous and professional at same time. this salon is truly the best everyone is genuine, nice, and never phony. point is that i love my hair now so much it makes me happy too

Janine - i came here several times. last was belle/velle and recently Janine. she is super nice and very kind and honest. she did a greeeeeeeeeeeat job on my all over color . its everythign i could ever wish for i love it so much wow i was so happy that i gave her a fat tip. Belle - AFFORDABLE, BEAUTIFUL, totaly worth it., its not as pricey as other hair salons. the people the vibe is so cool and laidback and fun. i love the interior design of the place. VAL cut and and colored my hair and she did the best job ever. never have my hair and confidence grow so much. traffic stopping hair honk honk wow my hair blowing in the wind. she gave me a beautiful color i trusted in val that she is not only talented but super duper nice she put her %500 in the job of doin my hair thank you so much i am definately coming bak for future hair dos…

Love Fringe. Desiree is the best!. I have been going to Desiree since moving to SF a couple of years ago and she is awesome. Aside from her general fabulousness as a person, she is an amazing hairdresser who always manages to understand my terrible attempts at vocalizing what it is that I want. And, to boot, her prices are wonderfully reasonable. I would refer her without limitation to absolutely anyone!…

FABULOUS!!!. Desiree is FABULOUS!!! Her colors look natural (or not if that's what you want) and her cuts - amazing. And she does evening hours!!!! She takes the time to talk to you about what you want, what works for you & what doesn't. She's not afraid to play around with something new if you want. She's up to date on what's cool.

Definitely call Desiree for weddings and special occasions - she'll come to where your event is and bring everything you could need!

Now, if I could only convince my husband to go to her.…
