The Scene – Ruby Skye owner George Karpaty has opened a see-and-be-seen club for those who are, in his words, "grown-up, make money and dress nice." Like the clientele, every aspect of the club is detailed and maxed-out plush. Stained-glass portraits circa-1814 highlight the club's decor while maintaining an old-school flavor. (The place once housed the historic Stagecoach Theatre.) - The Extras:
- Friday and Saturday nights, pay $340 for a booth reservation. Perks: $200 worth of drinks, $40 prepaid gratuity, and entry without waiting behind the velvet rope.
- Know Before You Go:
- On special midweek events and most weekend nights, be on the lookout for cigarette gals on foot. Expect to pay approximately $7 for a pack of smokes, $2-$3 for candy.
- Save Time:
- There's an ATM located upstairs, next to the pay phones near the stairs.
- Look Good:
- Although the attire is casual, don't wear baseball caps, tennis shoes, or any kind of sportswear.

I always come here when I get bored of just staying in at home. Great music and love the atmosphere.. Great way to get a little stress out of your life form a hard work week.. drinks are flowing and people here are awesome. Good spot to go with friends and let loose

One of the best places to have fun

Ruby Skye in San Francisco is an incredible nightclub in the bay area. Located in downtown San Francisco and I had one of the best club experience of my life here.
There may be some negative reviews about the bouncers below, but they must have changed it. Because I didn't have to wait in line too long for will call and the bouncers were friendly and didn't mind answering any questions I had. They do get a little tough, but that's because people are stupid when they are drunk.
Inside, the club is beautiful with a big dance floor on the main floor. The music and djs are terrific and the people are beautiful and everybody is having fun.
Ruby Skye is a definite place to check out in the Bay Area.

Gorgeous nightclub with top international DJ talent

Ruby Skye is San Francisco's #1 nightclub. This is the best place to go to see the world's top 100 DJs spinning on any given weekend. The music format is house/electronic in the main room, and hip-hop in the upstairs smoking lounge. The decor and lighting in this converted historic theater are top notch and very impressive. It is a big club, and has the best sound system in the city, so it is loud and hard to talk in here. But come to dance until 4am and enjoy the stiff drinks, go-go dancers and performance artists. Bottle service makes your night extra special and helps you avoid the crowds and give you a little more space of your own.
