One of my Favorite places. I love this place. I think it is simply magic and the only reason I return to stay at this place. I would recommend paying for the corkage fee and bringing you own bottle. The martinis are yummy too! A must stop for anyone in the bay area…
The View is to Die For.
Whenever I have company, ususally my first stop is The View. Especially on a clear day/night, the view is breathtaking. That alone gives it 5 stars. Then you add some mellow music or some nights,
dance tracks and one of the BEST sidecars in the city and you have hit the spot. I try sidecars everywhere I go and The View has stay consistant and delicious EVERY time. Then a few years back they changed their menu to a more indo/asian faire and I fell in love all over again!! I've been here for happy hour, to meet a group, or just to hang by myself on a personal night. I must say, it's a SF Gem. It can actually be a real fun night when tourist have a few to many and spontaneous dancing erupts(COMEDY!!! )
They USED to have a wonderful Asian Fusion menu!
The menu has changed to "American" cuisine & is BORING.I can make a better turkey club sandwich @ home! It loses a star for that!! My sidecar has never been better though!!…
great view of the city, pricey dinks and slow service. I was staying at the Marriott that View Lounge is located within, so we stopped here at the end of several evenings during out stay. The drinks were good when they finally came, although quite expensive. The view is beautiful as expected. It's great for a drink or two and the end or beginning of your evening but not someplace I would stay at night. Definitely recommended if you're staying at the Marriott.…
Slow service, nice view.. It's all about the view from the top. Drinks are average, but pricey. Service was pretty slow even though the place wasn't crowded.
Sky-high jazz and cocktail lounge atop SoMa's Marriott Hotel..
In Short
This bar and lounge occupies the entire 39th floor and consists of two large rooms, each stuffed with chairs and tables strategically placed in view-friendly spots. There's a piano

Specialty cocktails include the Raspberry Cookie--Vox raspberry vodka, Jägermeister, butterscotch schnapps, Bailey's and Goldschlager.…
