Editorial Review for Cigar Bar and Grill – by Daniel Liszt
In Short
Patrons pay a cover (around $5) to hang out and listen to live Latin musicians. In addition to a bar area serving cocktails, sangria and bites like baby back ribs, this is also one of the few places in the city where smoking is legal--there's even a humidor stocked with cigars for sale. A European-style patio with decorative fountains offers a place to light up or catch fresh air, while several pool tables inside offer further diversions.

Took a gal there on a date with the intention to get to know her. My buddy recommended this place because of the easy going vibe & the "coolness" without being cheesy or hipster factor. He also recommended the drink list, which I couldn't agree with him more on this. The bartenders were attentive, interested in us on more than a customer level & made some damn good mojitos. I have been back since then with others & they have all had a good time. My suggestion would be to go on a thursday night & have fun!
Pros: Mojitos, Bartenders & Thursday nights
Cons: Packed on weekends

Have stopped by several times and have always enjoyed the great Latin music. Friendly staff and good drinks make this a place to bring friends for an evening of good times. Nice food menu compliments the drink selections and there is always a festive vibe on the weekends. They recently added lunch service, so get down here for a bite to eat during the day. There are several really amazing Cuban bands that get the place jumpin', make sure to find out when they play next. Check out the patio for smoking and private rooms available for group get togethers. Lots of young partyers and hip people lend a cool energy to the place on weekends and during the week its a great place to bring friends. Don't miss out, get in here! Highly recommended.
Pros: great staff, good food and nice drink list
Cons: parking
