Editorial Review for Marin Headlands – by Erika Stalder
In Short
Soaring nearly 1,000 feet above the Pacific, just north of the Golden Gate Bridge, the Headlands include 50 miles of hiking trails, an antique lighthouse and an amazing collection of historic military installations. One of the oldest lighthouses in California is perched on the southwest tip of the Headlands, from where you can gaze drop-jawed at the Golden Gate Bridge and city in the distance.
