Good place.
the place was very noisy, dusty people and "guarra"... but at last, the croisants were very good.
I don't know why the boss don't call to the order or police...
Why go anywhere else?. Great drinks, fun crowd and some nice i-candy. And the bartenders are easy on the eyes. Thanks Joe and Doug - awesome job.
Ir's like going home.. Simply put, it's the best bar in the City an the only bar for me. The prices can't be beat and the bartenders are too cute.
Once you've had Moby's........ This is one of my favorite Bars not only in the Castro but in San Francisco. I can drink from happy hour till they close the doors.
A great bar just gets better. Bennigan must have been experiencing P.M.S. the night he reviewed this place this is a great bar, the bartenders were very friendly, I didn't find it clickish at all, everyone was very friendly. They just got a new sound system and it sounded great to me. I met a lot of really nice people and saw some very hot guys also. The drink speceials were really unbelievable, 2 margs for $5.00 everyday and night you can't really beat that. The place was very clean I really couldn't find anything wrong with it. I had the best time and made some new friends on top of it. I highly reccommend it.
Bennigan's, in the Castro?. Walking up to and entering this neighborhood bar, you feel like you are doing "the time warp". I thought this style went out in the 80's. As for the clientele, very clicky and the bartenders seem to ptomote it. All of this attitude changed in one year! This used to be a fun and friendly place to hang out with friends. Now, this is just another "stand and model" bar. Prices are in line with the other bars but they pour them a little on the short side, not to mention that you have to wait an eternity for snobby service (you thank the bartender for serving you, not them thanking you). Also, what happened to the videos?! If you can understand them, it might be cool, but they used to be sooo much better. Much better alternatives nearby.
Castro neighborhood staple offers dazzling drink specials and games galore..
The Scene
Assorted regulars, middle-aged (gay) average Joes and the usual pick-me-up-and-take-me-home mob share space in this dark, cramped bi-level room which houses a pool table, pinball machines, TVs blasting videos (think Britney Spears and Madonna) and a gigantic aquarium above the bar. Although crowded, folks here are decidedly more casual than some Castro Street offerings; they're more interested in kicking back and enjoying the incredible drink deals. Local art, at times gay-centric, adorns the walls.
The Draw
This laid-back drinking den has been around for more than 25 years and has its formula down pat. Crowds come back for casual drinks at reasonable prices.
Best of the best. Everytime I go I'm treated like the Queen that I am. Simply the best place to hang in the Castro. Go on down and see for your self.
Great Bar. I had a great time, Doug, David, Ramiro, the 2 Tony's, John, Michael, Tor, and Joe always make me feel welcome and like I belong. The place couldn't be better, the owners have really cleaned it up and are doing a lot of work on the inside. If you haven't been there in awhile it's worth a trip tp check it out. You won't be dissapointed.
A really nice place to be. This place just keeps getting better and better. They've redone the floors painted rehinished the bar, hired some really cute and friendly bartenders, opened up the space, and it really shows there is a hot crowed in there just about everynight, really nice people to. Not a type bar everyone seems to be welcome. It's really what a Gay bar should. I had a great time. I'll be back!
