SFMOMA's little-sister property showcases, sells and rents the contemporary work of local artists.. In Short
Located in Fort Mason Center, this bi-level, natural-light-filled space displays the work of over 1,300 up-and-coming artists from around Northern California. Most notable about the gallery is its unique rental program, which allows art lovers to take pieces home for a small fee for up to two months, after which they're given the option to buy. The art media range from paintings and sculpture to photographs and prints. Corporate clients are also accommodated.
