Walk along the chic boutiques and enticing eateries that decorate Fillmore Street end your stroll at this historic cinemas. Built in 1910, the theater stands as the oldest continually operating movie house in San Francisco. Owned by Landmark Theaters, this movie house screens films from the largest exhibitor of first-run, international, independent and specialty films in the country.

Cute cozy theatre. A very cute cozy theatre. Dim intimate lighting is a major plus. However, they keep advertising Dolby Digital sound on thier marquee, but they often don't show the movie in digital sound. Also, the selection of movies they show here doesn't turn over enough. They'll usually show a film for 8-12 weeks.
