Luxury boutique hotel turns Sausalito into the California Riviera.. The Scene
Since 1915, this building has housed a bordello, a speakeasy, and now an elegant hotel. In the midst of Sausalito's art galleries, cafes, and fine restaurants, its boat-filled marina and stunning city skyline views, this Edwardian hotel is only a short drive across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco.

This boutique hotel's 16 rooms offer a European country ambience with custom furniture handmade by local artisans and tasteful artistic accessories. Faux painted walls are washed in warm Riviera-inspired tones of tangerine, yellow and olive. Beds are dressed in the finest linens and down comforters, then piled with fluffy pillows. After a leisurely morning in bed, guests can head upstairs to enjoy the lovely rooftop garden before a stroll through picturesque and trendy Sausalito.

Unique and Warm. The hotel Sausalito has got to be one of the best places to stay in the area. Most of the rooms are fairly small, but they have wonderful character and are very cozy. As far as rates, I doubt you'll find a better deal in town. This place has a great location, great service, and a great vibe.
