Love it! Take all your friends there!. Was there for the second time. Both times, it was just phenomenal. The drinks are tasty and strong. The crabcake salad is awesome, so is the clam chowder. The ahi tuna sandwich is even more superb. Everything is just rally good. Service is excellent, even though they're always very busy, being a tourist trap. The view of the bay and the city from certain tables in the back room and on the patio of course is breathtaking.

Take all your out-of-town or foreign visitors there, no matter what!

Amazing restaurant and food. I have been to this restaurant many times and every time I have the best experience. The food is amazing and it tastes very fresh. I would reccomend this place to everyone I know!

This is a great place for family. I brought my mother and aunt in for dinner not too long ago for a nice relaxing evening dinner. They were in town from Boston and absolutely loved it. My mother even said that she felt like she was back in Maine enjoying some classic seafood. It's a great escape from the city and wonderful restaurant. In addition to a great menu, the views of the Marin, Alcatraz and the SF are pretty distant too.

Seafood by the Sea. Scoma's, sitting by itself with an incredible view of San Francisco across the bay, was a delightful experience. We had no reservation, showed up at 9 pm on a Friday night in late August, and were seated within 15 minutes. Fish reigns supreme here. My swordfish was prepared with light seasoning and accompanied by a tasty pasta side dish. My companion had the Chilean sea bass, an excellent choice. The service was fine and it was worth the 45 minute drive from Napa to eat here with lovely San Francisco in the distance.
