AVOID this Restaurant at all costs!!!. My wife and I stopped into this restaurant because she was very hungry, being pregnant and all. I recommended that we wait until we got home to go out to eat, but she was insistent. We ordered two bowls of clam chowder and a loaf of garlic bread to go with it. The bowls of soup were small for $8.50 each. The clam chowder was HORRIBLE?soupy, lacked flavor, and had too much celery flavor. The garlic bread was a piece of French bread, with butter and garlic salt!!! The decor of the restaurant was tacky and run down, with the service center exposed to the eating area. The whole time we were there, we had to listen to all the staff members sitting at a table behind us, laughing and carrying on. The total cost of this horrible experience was $25, which is extremely overpriced for what we received. Not to mention that the older gray haired waitress was rude enough to yell out as we left, ?wow, thanks for the $2.50 tip.? My wife kept me from going back and giving her a piece of my mind. This is a place you should AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!! Horrible food, service, and atmosphere!!!

My last visit to seven seas .... forever!!!!!. I first ate at the Seven Seas in December 1972 it was so delicious the crusty bread and thick sauces were memorable. Since then I have eaten there many times, however , it had been 15 years since I had been there until yesterday. After flying in from Atlanta and dreaming about my visit to the 7 seas. I told the folks with me how great it is, I was so disappointed I will never return. The bread is store bought sliced italian soft crust. The shrimp newburg such a delight in the past with big fresh shrimp ... this had little salad shrimp in the poor sauce. I could have cried. So sad . The soup was vegetable the veggies with the meal freezer burned rubber beans-- use to be fresh! The gummy rice had pepppers and stuff in it was like glue. I can not recommend my beloved fav of Sausalito to anyone ever again.
