Good creamy ice cream with a variety of flavors. Try one. Heck, try several. They are all good. There is a local connection to this place. When people think of Lappert's, they think of Hawaii. It started out in Hawaii. Grew very popular there. Then spread to the mainland. But the truth is that Mr & Mrs. Lappert are origianlly from Marin County. They retired to Hawaii. Missed good ice cream. Made their own. You know the rest.

Lappert's Ice Cream is perhaps the best in the world. I can not even begin to describe how delicious it is, no other ice cream comes remotely close. And for some reason this Hawaiian ice cream company has two stores a block away from each other in Sausalito. So if you are anywhere near Sausalito and in the mood for ice cream, head to Lappert's.
