Great outdoor patio and sangria. Unfortunately, the cooking here is a little uneven. They use a lot of zucchini and other vegetables in their tacos and rellenos that tend to be undercooked. Show me a real Mexican mom (or line cook) who undercooks her vegetables. And what happened to the habanero salsa that always used to be available?? Time to change the boring vinaigrette that accompanies most of the entrees. And for God's sake get rid of the canned mandarin orange sections! Would love to come here more often because of the patio and sangria.

big portions. During the summer months I love grabbing an outside table and dining here on the evenings. The portions are large and I have never left unsatisfied. I love their chips and salsa. I would recommend their fish tacos.

purple tacos in the sunshine. Now that the rain is in Spain it's cool to catch a mid-week lunch in San Anselmo at Taco Jane's. The first time I went there I ordered the steak tacos (1 is about $10 and 2 are about $11) and ordered two. The portions were huge if you included the black beans and rice. Sangria wasn't bad. The second time I went I thought I would back off and just order one, but I couldn't do it. I love the dark cornmeal that they use for the soft taco shells. Makes it feel like you've ordered from the kids menu when they arrive but they're very very good. No surprise parking is a bear....
