Cowgirl Creamery, Pt. Reyes Beach. The drive through Marin to Pt. Reyes Station and on out to Pt. Reyes beach makes this day trip enjoyable in itself. If you're going to the beach, stop in at the Cowgirl Creamery for a sandwich, a bottle of wine, and some cheese to nibble on. And, if you make it a whole day trip - stop back into Pt. Reyes Station in the evening and have dinner at the Pinecone (across the street from Cowgirls) - fabulous organic food!…
stay away from lunar freeze. Extremely cold, very high speed winds and fog city almost all year round. Even when the weather's great elsewhere, Pt Reyes delivers some pleasing vistas but it's lack of creature comforts is downright depressing. Speak about sand in the eyes! It's good poster material and that's it.…
