Decent food, but too pricey and too slow for lunch....
If you have a lot of time and a fat wallet - then this is a great lunch place for you. My lunch crew found our 7 dishes served warm, and were all tasty, I would say good to above average for each plate. I just have to wonder who has 45 minutes to wait to eat at lunch, and afford the pricey tag. So, for a those occasions you have 2 hours for lunch, and a few extra bucks to spend - head here.
Our favorite restaurant in Marin.
We eat at the Garden about once a week, and have eaten there for years. The meals are amazing, the staff friendly, and the ambience beautiful. The other reviewer could not have actually eaten there, because the food is always perfectly cooked, zinging with spices and flavors, and the main chef is neither fat nor ungracious, she is owner Hilda Hattar, who is warm, lovely, and slim. Great restaurant, and great people.
BOOORING! BLAND !!!! OVERCOOKED!.
The pasta over cooked- the place was so stuffy! No airconditioning. When I complained about my meal, the fat owner said thats how we cook it. ??? I just moved into the area & trying out the local restaurants. You've got to be kidding with the food?!? I'm never coming in with my family again!
