Call before to make sure they're open. I personally love sushi and I go to Taki almost everyweek. If you're not afraid of Uni (Sea Urchin), def. try it. Also try Amaebi (Raw Sweet Shrimp), and ask if they'd give you the shrimp heads (deep fried), it tastes sooo awesome. I've been to the tatami room when it was for a birthday party 8+, seating is ok, I'd prefer to sit outside. Everything is fresh and all the staffs are really nice. They even remember my name after just going in 4 times in the first couple of months.

I asked for sushi, not kimchee.. I am a big fan of sushi. I don't mind if the sushi is made from someone other than japanese, but atleast open a conversation. I'm a traditional type of guy and wanted to have a nice dinner at the bar. I was seated promptly, though seated, I waited very long until the sushi chef asked for my order. Not even looking at me in the eye. I asked "whats good for today?" he replied "EVERYTHING!" And we all know that not everything is fresh, though I just went on ahead and just ordered simple. "Maguro onigaishimasu." The tuna came out as dark as it was. It looked like the meat that was nearby the backbone, a lot of blo*d. I wasn't too happy with it so to be respectful, I still ate it. I ended quick with the order because the appetizers did not get my attention for it was all fried and teryaki. Not to mention, the rice was not vinegared either. Not a plus! I finished off with tamago, japanese omlet. It just tasted like egg. I would have recommended this restaraunt if it were by looks.

Very good restaurant. This is one of the best Sushi restaurants in Marin County - or in my opinion - all of Bay Area. Everything is very fresh and wonderfully prepared. The staff is cheerful and always a treat. Sit at the sushi bar and watch the sushi chef do his magic. Be sure to order the edamame, one of the simple delights of the restaurant.
