Since emigrating to San Francisco in 1987, Ms. O'Leary has utilized her Celtic craft of sweater weaving to establish a local series of boutiques. Yarns made from cashmere, merino, wool, cotton, rayon or silk are knitted into all sorts of shapes and sizes: sweaters, shawls, caps and skirts are woven tight or loose, shaped with V-necks or rounded necks, pullovers or cardigans. Don't overlook cute additions by other apparel makers.
