great italian food

Their food is amazing, I love it. When our family wants to go out for a special evening we always agree on La Toscana. Try the fettucini alfredo. Yumm : )
- Pros: nice bar setup, warm italian vibe, wonderful food
- Cons: a little pricey but nice for special occassions

Decent Italian joint

I have been to La Toscana a lot, because my Italian grandparents love it. I think it is so-so. Last night I ordered the gnocchi with pesto, which was really tasty. I also ordered a side of meatballs, which I didn't really like. They were kind of mushy and not as great as my mom's homemade ones. Their customers are all old people. I was by far one of the youngest people in the place. All in all a decent, but not amazing place to get Italian in Marin.
