Visiting Plant'It Earth is like walking into a life-size terrarium. Everything is grown entirely under artificial grow lights and is maintained without the use of chemical pesticides. A large banana tree is the star of the shop, and numerous hydroponic (no soil) systems are filled year-round with orchids, vegetables, herbs and flowers. You'll also find lots of organic plant foods, growing mediums and pest controls, as well as lights, containers and hydroponic systems.
