The best fresh seafood, especially Maine Lobster.... For all of you locals & East Coaster's who are tired of the mini portions and three day old seafood in most Bay Area restaurants, this is the Restaurant you've been looking for! All the seafood is great, no "farmed Atlantic Salmon". Fresh Alaskan Salmon at it freshest and best. Raw clam eaters and Maine Lobster lovers are saved. Finally there are FRESH Maine Lobsters and Cherrystone raw clams! The service is professional and excellent. The plates are filled with food, not decorative garnish!

Angry Owner should not return to the Scene of the Slime. Years ago I witnessed the owner, Al go bullistic on a server in the restaurant and now old Al has locked horns with a local body shop owner over what should have been a minor incident with hot butter exploding off some escargot. Not only has this made it to the local paper but other media has relayed the story of the exploding escargot at the "scene of the slime". If this hadn't evolved into a court case and continued to be so ugly, it would be comical.

You might get lucky dining here or then again probably not.

A perfect option for any mood!. Seafood Peddler is the gem of Marin. Located on the water in San Rafael, it is a charming place to have lunch, happy hour, or dinner. It's a perfect place on a rainy day for delicius clam chowder or a sunny day on the patio for a dozen oysters and glass of wine.

You can tell how fresh their fish is because they sell fresh fish and lobsters right when you walk in the door.

Seafood Peddler is whatever you want to make it...they have a seafood bar that offers a more casual faire or lobster for the more formal dining experience.

They have a professional and friendly wait staff and I always share a good laugh with the bartender.

looking for the worst unforgettable experience?. I think my title says it all.

TERREBLE MANAGEMENT, SERVICE IS NOT WHAT YOU EXPECT from a restaurant. Just reed revue below mine and in my eyes that revue is like a complement.

I think owner forgot about his restaurant and thats why the place became like that.

Also if you understand spanish or you cane with children who do, make sure they dont hear the conversation between manager and waiters. Profanity is the air.

Best Calm chowder in town. I like to their calm chowder a lot (most of the time to go), but this is a very romantic place to go on a lunch date. Their seafood is great.

Agressive waitress. The food was very good and fresh, however my entire experience was ruined when the waitress ran out after me and said that I did not leave the proper tip. I am 51 years old and never has anyone ran out of the resturant and complained about the tip. In addition she was rude and flip. The food is not worth such tacky treatment.
